Patrick

A native of Tacoma, Washington, Patrick Sherman is now an active member of the DuPont, Washington community where he resides with his wife and two sons, Ethan and Owen. A proud father, supportive husband, and former member of law enforcement, Patrick is dedicated to protecting and serving the interests of not only his family, but also of his surrounding communities.

With over twenty years in the information technology field, Patrick first started designing websites in early 1994. He then started web-hosting in 1999 in response to ever-increasing rates for community-managed business website design, ranging at the time from $2,000-25,000! Patrick understood that small businesses needed relatively low-priced websites, a belief that rings even more true today. In fact, the soaring prices for business sites was a motivator for him to venture into the web-hosting realm where, for the first three years, he designed sites for small businesses, bartering his services for nothing more than good karma! After successfully building a growing list of clientele and becoming A+ and Network+ certified, Patrick launched 253 Design in 2006, where these philosophies remain the foundation for his work. Though his philosophies have not changed, his list of clientele has broadened to now include the F/V Northwestern, as featured on the show Deadliest Catch on the Discovery Channel, where he serves as the Community Development Manager.

In addition to owning and operating 253 Design, Patrick has over thirteen years of experience in video editing and production. Having served as Creative Director for South Sound Video, LLC, he currently enjoys his position as Video Producer and Editor for State Farm Insurance’s Pacific Northwest Zone, regularly receiving exemplary feedback. He sees each and every video as a unique opportunity to capture a moment and feeling, leveraging a keen eye for composition, lighting, and exposure to create a product above and beyond the clients’ expectations. His expertise with cameras and dedication to continued education of camera technology positions him as a frontrunner in video production services for the Greater South Sound area.

A multitalented and dedicated professional, Patrick still today holds true that his greatest service is his ability to help those who need it and that doing the right thing for others enriches the lives of all that surround us. He believes that good business is the cornerstone to building healthy, strong communities and that merely the strength of his word is a viable start.
